Hosted identity and onboarding tasks
The person submits on the hosted page; your business acts on returned evidence. Synthetic tasks and live checks differ.
Instructions reviewed
Current workspace availability, quotes and permissions apply. The review date is not a live provider status. Reading help makes no checks or payments.
Before you start
- Choose a free synthetic task or an expressly authorized live identity check; live use requires current eligibility, provider access and allowance/funds.
Follow these steps
For a rehearsal, choose Create free synthetic task in Onboarding. Inspect the task, next step, history and redacted JSON.
You should see: A synthetic task is created without provider calls or live permission changes.
For live use, enroll for hosted identity in Production access and accept applicable terms. Once enabled, select Personal onboarding and submit once with consent.
You should see: A record ID and hosted link appear; the person completes document/face steps there.
Refresh the original record for callback/reconciliation. A return-page message does not replace confirmed evidence; do not upload documents/photos through MCP.
You should see: The record shows returned status/reasons; pending/review is not automatic business approval.
To track onboarding, enter the existing verification ID and Link existing record. Inspect the business decision and export the handoff.
You should see: Linking reuses evidence without a second provider session; version and unresolved items remain traceable.
Completion check
You distinguish provider evidence, workflow and business decision; synthetic success is not live new-user acceptance.
If you get stuck
- If you leave the hosted page or results are delayed, keep the ID and query the original; do not create another paid check.
