What if a verification webhook never arrives?

Persist pending state and a deadline. Recover with bounded retries, authorized status refresh or review. Never turn a missing callback into approval. This fixture expires locally without querying a provider.

Run the example

Download the ZIP below, extract it and enter the verification_delivery directory. Python 3.10+; no credentials or network calls.

python3 -m unittest -v test_delivery.DeliveryTests.test_restart test_delivery.DeliveryTests.test_timeout_recovery
curl -s http://127.0.0.1:8787/recover -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d "{}"

Inputs, outputs and limits

Input: persisted session and current time. Output: pending or expired plus next action. Restart with the same SQLite database. A production implementation also needs provider-specific signature validation and bounded status reconciliation; this example does not establish those capabilities.

Test every branch

Engineering tests cover simulated transitions, bindings, duplicate callbacks, restart and timeouts. They do not prove production success, external adoption or Agent superiority.

python3 -m unittest -v test_delivery
