GridZen · CEP Verify
Price CEP reconciliation separately from a new bank transfer
A payment-evidence service and an active account test have different cost drivers. Treating them as one product can make pricing and customer expectations inaccurate.
Reuse an existing business payment
If the SPEI payment already happened, its transaction details can be used to request evidence. There is no reason to pay the beneficiary again merely to retrieve that payment’s CEP. The service still has retrieval, validation, storage and operating costs.
An account-only active check needs a separate authorized mechanism. GridZen’s current CadoPay test setup uses 1 MXN principal and a 3 MXN fee. That 4 MXN outflow is separate from existing-payment evidence and must not be hidden inside a low CEP unit price.
Understand the trial and pricing boundary
The CEP real trial is limited to verified business accounts, 10 lifetime attempts per business domain and 50 attempts per day across the service. The reference paid package is 250 MXN for 1,000 completed checks, valid 30 days. Paid checkout is not enabled, and the trial does not create an outgoing payment balance.
No guaranteed throughput or completion time is offered. When access is restricted, show the reason and retain the original task. This is more useful than accepting unlimited requests that cannot be completed.
Keep evidence for a defined purpose
GridZen isolates and encrypts merchant inputs, originals and results, retaining business records for up to 30 days. Bank data needed for retrieval and signature checks is sent to Banxico. Keep your own business-order reference and apply your applicable retention policy to any original you download. A historical receipt must not become an unrelated third-party name database.
